The ISI also deals with bankruptcy. But you must first have tried to solve your debt problems using the three alternatives listed above, before you can seek to be made bankrupt.

If you are in mortgage difficulty, now in the time to take action. Under a new State-funded Scheme borrowers with mortgage arrears can meet with a Personal Insolvency Practitioner (PIP) for advice. The priority will be to find a sustainable solution that keeps the person in their home, where possible.
